Spay and neuter assistance program
(SNAP)
Community members who need assistance to get their dogs or cats spayed or neutered can apply to our SNAP program where Easy Street will cover the cost of the surgery.

Senior medical assistance

Senior citizens 60 and over can apply for assistance for basic medical needs of their pets. Funding for this program is sponsored through Pets for the elderly foundation.
 

Microchip clinics

Twice a year, Easy Street holds a free microchip clinic for area citizen’s pets. One clinic is held in the spring in Forestburg, and the second clinic is in Saint Jo in the fall. Checklist of events for specific dates.
 

Books and rescue K-9s (BARK club)

Each Wednesday morning at the Saint Jo public library, Easy Street volunteers and one of the rescue dogs will participate in the preschool reading program 10am Wednesdays.
 

Tony’s fund – Major Medical

This grant provides funds to obtain major medical care for Easy Street Animal Shelter dogs in need.
